HomeMy Public PortalAbout07959������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 79596r AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer or drainage facilities of the District and the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict, and WHEREAS, petitions signed by a majority of the owners of the land in said area, who are also the owners of more than onei�half of the land therein, praying for annexation of said area by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and by the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict and setting forth the boundaries of the area to be annexed have been filed with and received by the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict, and that the interests of sanitation and public health of the District and the Subdistrict will be promoted by including the area in their respective territories; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 That the Board finds that the sewer or drainage facilities of the District and the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict can efficiently serve the area described in Exhibit A, as attached hereto. �|ection Two.�0 That petitions signed by a majority of��h�� the owners of the land in said area, who are also the owners of more than onei�half of the land area therein, praying for annexation of said area by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and by the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict and setting forth the boundaries of the area to be annexed have been filed with and received by the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. �|ection Three.�0 That the interests of sanitation and public health of the District and the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict, as well as the area proposed to be annexed, will be promoted by including said area in their respective territories. �|ection Four.�0 That the sewage flow from the area proposed to be annexed has no other available adequate sewer outlet or treatment facility. �|ection Five.�0 That the Board of Trustees, after examination and consideration of the facts, hereby grants the petition for annexation of said area, and hereby declares that the corporate boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict are hereby respectively extended so as to include the area described in Exhibit A, as attached hereto. 粘ection Six.・ Certified copies of this Ordinance shall be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the Secretary of State. ワdワ ��*&���_XHIBIT A6r ����Part of Lot 17 according to the plat on file in the Probate Court of the City (former County) of St. Louis, Missouri, in the estate of Ephriam Barber, deceased, File No. 1963 of said Probate Court, which lies West and Southwest of the centerline of Eatherton Road also known as Highway 109, as established according to plat recorded in Plat Book 28, Page 67 in Section 36, Township 45 North, Range 3 East, St. Louis County, Missouri, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Eatherton Road (Missouri Route 109), with the centerline of Old Eatherton Road; thence along the said centerline of Missouri Route 109 Northwardly 2,300 feet, more or less to the Eastward prolongation of the Southern line of a tract of land now or formerly described to Passiglia, as recorded in Deed Book 8158, Page 415 of the St. Louis County Records, said point is also the true point of beginning; thence North 89 degrees 01 minutes 02 seconds West 504.80 feet to the West line of said Section 36; thence along said section line, North 00 degrees 05 minutes East 957.11 feet to the said centerline of Missouri Route 109; thence along said centerline South 37 degrees 40 minutes 26 seconds East 355.85 feet to a point of curvature; thence along a curve to the right, in which said curve has a radius of 1,432.69 feet and an arc distance of 749.97 feet to the true point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 20, 1989.
