A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF A ONE YEAR ARMORY RIGHT OF
ENTRY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE
CALIFORNIA MILITARY DEPARTMENT FOR EMPLOYEE PARKING
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, The California Military Department property adjacent to
the City Annex Building recently became vacant; and
WHEREAS, This provides an opportunity for the City to enter into a
right of entry agreement for employee parking enabling the City to provide
additional parking spaces near the City Annex Building for public parking.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby, find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute a
one year Armory Right of Entry Extension Agreement, approved as to form by
the City Attorney, for employee parking purposes with the California Military
Department.
Section 2: The right of entry agreement, funded by Account
1011.45.405.62015, shall not exceed $5,700.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day ofi May, 2008.
