HomeMy Public PortalAbout08090Æ ÆÏÏñ„!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € „!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € ñÁÁà *ÔO R D I N A N C E NO. 8090•ƒ AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seven Thousand Dollars ($107,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Upper Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a gabion wall in Amblewood Drive #3455 & #3475 (86223), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid gabion wall, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion wall is Ninety Thousand Three Hundred Ninety©three and 50/100 Dollars ($90,393.50), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Six Hundred Six and 50/100 Dollars ($16,606.50), and WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to contribute Twenty©five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Upper Paddock Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above©named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:ÜhÜŒ ”Section One.• The sum of One Hundred Seven Thousand Dollars ($107,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Upper Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a gabion wall in Amblewood #3455 & #3475, in St. Louis County, Missouri. ”Section Two.• The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a gabion wall in Amblewood #3455 & #3475, in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th day of April 1990 and formally executed on the 13th day of May 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary©Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. ”Section Three.• This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 13, 1990.
