Home My Public Portal About08091Æ ÆÏÏÆÆÏÏñ„!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € „!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € ñÁÁÃ *Ã”O R D I N A N C E NO. 8091•ƒ AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty©six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($26,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Menett Avenue #2310 (89060), in the City of Vinita Park, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Twenty©two Thousand One Hundred Eighty©five Dollars ($22,185.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand Three Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($4,315.00), and WHEREAS, the City of Vinita Park, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to contribute Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($13,250.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above©named fundÜhÜ sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: ”Section One.• The sum of Twenty©six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($26,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Menett Avenue #2310 (89060), in the City of Vinita Park, Missouri. ”Section Two.• The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Bates Utility Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Menett Avenue #2310 (89060), in the City of Vinita Park, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of April 1990 and formally executed on the 13th day of May 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary©Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. ”Section Three.• This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 13, 1990.
