Home My Public Portal About08093Æ ÆÏÏÆÆÏÏÆÆÏÏñ„!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € „!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € ñÁÁÃ *Ã”O R D I N A N C E NO. 8093•ƒ AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($117,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the Seminary Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Garden & Old Orchard (S©1888, C©1338), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Karsten Equipment Company for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is One Hundred Thousand Fifty Dollars ($100,050.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($16,950.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Thirty©nine Thousand Dollars ($39,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the Seminary Branch of River des Peres, and WHEREAS, the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Thirty©nine Thousand Dollars ($39,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to theÜhÜ Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the Seminary Branch of River des Peres, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above©named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: ”Section One.• The sum One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($117,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the Seminary Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Garden & Old Orchard (S©1888, Cª1338), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri. ”Section Two.• The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Karsten Equipment Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Garden & Old Orchard (S©1888, C©1338), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th day of April 1990 and formally executed on the 13th day of May 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary©Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. ”Section Three.• This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.ÁÁ The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 13, 1990.
