HomeMy Public PortalAbout08094Æ ÆÏÏÆÆÏÏÆÆÏÏñ„!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € „!B„!B„!B„!B€ € € ñÁÁà *ÔO R D I N A N C E NO. 8094•ƒ AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety©One Thousand Dollars ($91,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Gloucester©Haddock Phase II (90143), in the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors and Village of Riverview, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Seventy©seven Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($77,600.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($13,400.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Thirty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($30,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to contribute Eleven Thousand One Hundred Ninety©three and 50/100 Dollars ($11,193.50) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, saidÜhÜ money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and WHEREAS, the Village of Riverview, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to contribute Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred Forty©six and 50/100 Dollars ($15,646.50) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and WHEREAS, the St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic has agreed to contribute Three Thousand Six Hundred Sixty Dollars ($3,660.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above©named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: ”Section One.• The sum of Ninety©one Thousand Dollars ($91,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Gloucester©Haddock Phase II (90143), in the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors and Village of Riverview, Missouri.Üd ÜŒ ”Section Two.• The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Bates Utility Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Gloucester©Haddock Phase II (90143), in the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors and Village of Riverview, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of April 1990 and formally executed on the 13th day of May 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary©Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. ”Section Three.• This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 13, 1990.
