HomeMy Public PortalAbout08135������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 81356r AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fortyi�two Thousand Two Hundred Seventyi�five ($42,275.00) from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Garner & Prather (90003), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Karsten Equipment Company for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Thirtyi�five Thousand Eight Hundred Twentyi�four Dollars ($35,824.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Six Thousand Four Hundred Fiftyi�one Dollars ($6,451.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the abovei�named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 The sum of Fortyi�two Thousand Two Hundred Seventyi�five Dollars ($42,275.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Garner & Prather (90003), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. �|ection Two.�0 The contract heretofore let by the��h�� Executive Director to Karsten Equipment Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Garner & Prather (90003), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 4th day of June, 1990 and formally executed on the 12th day of June 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretaryi�Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. �|ection Three.�0 This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 24, 1990.
