HomeMy Public PortalAbout08141������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 81416r AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($420,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to be used for project costs for the renovation of the HVAC and electrical systems in Mechanical and Electrical Renovation at 2000 Hampton (90213), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Korte Construction Co. for said renovation, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for said renovation is Three Hundred Ninetyi�eight Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($398,900.00), and the cost of advertisement costs and allowance for construction change orders is Twentyi�one Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($21,100.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the abovei�named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 The sum of Four Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($420,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to be used for project costs for the renovation of the HVAC and electrical systems in Mechanical and Electrical Renovation at 2000 Hampton (90213), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. �|ection Two.�0 The contract heretofore let by the��h�� Executive Director to Korte Construction Co. as the lowest responsible bidder for the renovation of the HVAC and electrical systems in Mechanical and Electrical Renovation at 2000 Hampton (90213), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 1st day of June, 1990 and formally executed on the 12th day of June, 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretaryi�Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. �|ection Three.�0 This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 24, 1990.
