HomeMy Public PortalAbout08154������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 81546r AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($117,500.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Telegraph Road Interceptor Phase I Section A (89213), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Karsten Equipment Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is One Hundred Five Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and 50/100 Dollars ($105,250.50), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Fortyi�nine and 50/100 Dollars ($12,249.50), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the abovei�named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 The sum of One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($117,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Telegraph Road Interceptor Phase I Section A (89213), in St. Louis County, Missouri. �|ection Two.�0 The contract heretofore let by the��h�� Executive Director to Karsten Equipment Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Telegraph Road Interceptor Phase I Section A (89213), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of June, 1990 and formally executed on the 23rd day of July, 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretaryj�Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. �|ection Three.�0 This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 8, 1990.
