HomeMy Public PortalAbout08178������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 81786r AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($7,900,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Coldwater Creek WWTP Outfall Phase I (86065), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Affholder, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Seven Million Four Hundred Seventyi�two Thousand Dollars ($7,472,000.00), and the cost of dewatering and allowance for construction change orders is Four Hundred Twentyi�eight Thousand Dollars ($428,000.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 The sum of Seven Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($7,900,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Coldwater Creek WWTP Outfall Phase I (86065), in St. Louis County, Missouri. �|ection Two.�0 The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Affholder, Inc. as the lowest responsible��h�� bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Coldwater Creek WWTP Outfall Phase I (86065), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 3rd day of August, 1990 and formally executed on the 7th day of August, 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretaryi�Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. �|ection Three.�0 This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 1990.
