HomeMy Public PortalAbout08252����������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 82526r AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($630,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Blackjacki�Dellwood to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Hallstead Phase I (89117), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Four Hundred Fortyi�seven Thousand One Hundred Sixtyj�nine Dollars ($447,169.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Eightyj�two Thousand Eight Hundred Thirtyi�one Dollars ($182,831.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Blackjacki�Dellwood, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the abovei�named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 The sum of Six Hundred Thirty Thousand��h�� Dollars ($630,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Blackjackj�Dellwood to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Hallstead Phase I (89117), in St. Louis County, Missouri. �|ection Two.�0 The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Hallstead Phase I (89117), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 4th day of October, 1990 and formally executed on the 19th day of November, 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretaryi�Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. �|ection Three.�0 This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 12, 1990.
