HomeMy Public PortalAbout08254��������������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 82546r AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twentyi�five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of a retaining wall in Fannie Avenue #302 (89207), in St. LOuis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Harrawood & Son, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid retaining wall, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said retaining wall is Twentyi�one Thousand Two Hundred Twentyi�two Dollars ($21,222.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Seven Hundred Seventyi�eight Dollars ($3,778.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Eight Thousand Three Hundred Thirtyi�three Dollars ($8,333.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River Operating Fund, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the abovei�named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 The sum of Twentyi�five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River��h�� Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of a retaining wall in Fannie Avenue #302 (89207), in St. Louis County, Missouri. �|ection Two.�0 The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Harrawood & Son, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a retaining wall in Fannie Avenue #302 (89207), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of October, 1990 and formally executed on the 19th day of November, 1990 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretaryi�Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. �|ection Three.�0 This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 12, 1990.
