C I T Y C O U N C I L
TEMPLE CITY CALIFORNIA
JUNE 29, 1967
INITIATION:
1. Mayor Beckley called the Special Meeting of the City Council
to order at 7:00 P. M.
2. ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Councilmen- Harker, Tyrell, Beckley
ABSENT: Councilmen- Briggs, Merritt
Also present City Manager Koski and City Attorney Flandrick
3. RESOLUTION NO, 67-753: Re Appeal of Leiland R. Shaw from the
Decision of the Planning Commission.
City Manager Koski presented the above resolution which the
Council had requested the City Attorney to prepare in accord-
ance with their decision made at the public hearing held on
June 20, 1967, Councilman Tyrell moved to adopt Resolution
No. 67 -753, Councilman Harker seconded, and the motion was
carried unanimously.
4. RESOLUTION NO. 67 -754: Re Appeal of Ralph Sproul from the
Decision of the Planning Commission.
City Manager Koski presented Resolution No. 67 -753 which had
been prepared by the City Attorney in accordance with the
instructions of the City Council. Councilman Tyrell moved
to adopt Resolution No. 67 -754, Councilman Harker seconded,
and the motion carried unanimously.
5. AGREEMENT: Between City and Flood Control District re
Project #8001.
City Manager Koski presented the above agreement for Council
consideration and advised it provides that should the bid
on this project exceed the funds provided in the bond issue,
whereby the City is allowed to contribute funds if you so
desire to build the project as originally designed up to the
extent of the deficiency. Councilman Tyrell moved to approve
the Agreement and to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
sign on behalf of the City, Councilman Harker seconded, and
the motion carried unanimously.
6 RESOLUTION NO. 67 -755: Re Position and Salary Schedule
City Manager Koski presented the above resolution which adopts
a salary schedule and pay plan. Councilman Harker moved to
adopt Resolution No. 67 -755, Councilman Tyrell seconded, and
the motion was carried unanimously.
7, SET PUBLIC HEARING: APPEAL FROM PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION:
Ralphs Industries, Var. Case #67 -224
Councilman Tyrell moved to set the public hearing for July
18, 1967, at 7:30 P. M., Councilman Harker seconded, and the
motion carried unanimously.
8. ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Tyrell moved to adjourn to the regular
meeting of July 18, 1967, Councilman Harker seconded, and the
motion carried unanimously. Council adjourned at 7:08 P. M.
