HomeMy Public PortalAbout08257��������������*���_ R D I N A N C E NO. 82576r AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the amendment of the existing lease with Langei�Stegmann Fertilizer Company, and directing the Executive Director and Secretaryi�Treasurer, on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to execute an Amendment to the Lease Agreement with Langei�Stegmann Fertilizer Company, a Missouri corporation, for certain real property of the District, known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, said real property is being used by the Lessee for the purpose of receiving, handling, bagging, storing and shipping fertilizer and urea, and WHEREAS, the current lease, as amended, was authorized by Ordinance No. 4131, adopted August 7, 1980, and WHEREAS, a dispute regarding the relative obligations and liabilities of the Lessor and Lessee under the original lease has arisen, and WHEREAS, the amendment to the original lease, as herein authorized, is necessary for the resolution of the aforesaid dispute, and WHEREAS, Lessee desires to expand the terms of the current lease to include certain vacant real property of the District adjacent to the real property as originally leased to Lessee, and certain other provisions as agreeable to the District, and WHEREAS, the use of said real property as herein��h�� specified does not interfere with any District operation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: �|ection One.�0 The Executive Director and Secretaryj�Treasurer are hereby authorized to amend the existing lease with Langei�Stegmann Fertilizer Company, and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute an Amendment to the Lease Agreement with Langei�Stegmann Fertilizer Company, a Missouri corporation, for certain real property of the District known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. �|ection Two.�0 The lease Amendment shall extend the lease term through June 30, 1996, with a five year option to renew, at the annual rental rate of Fiftyi�seven Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($57,300.00), and increase the premises as leased to Lessee, and embody such other terms and conditions as are approved by the office of General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 12, 1990.
