AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of
Missouri's share of the total costs for the construction of
stormwater improvements in Lake Avenue Storm Sewer (P-16694)
(91054), in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken at the request of
the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri at an estimated total cost
of One Hundred Six Thousand One Hundred Eighty-two and 35/100
Dollars ($106,182.35), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to pay to the
District its share of the project cost, which amounts to Twenty-
five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00); upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Improvement
Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to
pay the State of Missouri's share of the total costs for the
construction of stormwater improvements in Lake Avenue Storm Sewer
(P-16694) (91054), in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 9, 1991.
