A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LVNWOOD
ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM LOS ANGELES COUNTY OF A MODULAR
UNIT OFFICE FOR USE AT HAM PARK, VALUED AT $34,484.87,
APPROVING THE SOCIAL PROGRAM AGREEMENT CONTRACT NO. PFU-
02-09 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Second District Supervisor Yvonne B. Burke of the Los
Angeles County Board of Supervisors has pledged financial assistance in the
amount of $34,484.87 to the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, said financial assistance will be in the form of an office trailer
that can be used at the new Ham Park; and
WHEREAS, to receive said financial assistance the City is required to
execute a social program agreement with the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts a grant
from Los Angeles County of a modular unit office for use at Ham Park, valued at
$34,484.87
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the
Social Program Agreement Contract No. PFU-02-09 and authorizing the Mayor
to execute said agreement.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15t day of July, 2008.
