A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF FERNWOOD AVENUE AND EL
GRANADA AVENUE ATHREE-WAY STOP INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, staff received a request to review the traffic safety on
Fernwood Avenue between Wright Road and Atlantic Avenue; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed relevant data relative to this
request; and
WHEREAS, this intersection is recommended by staff to be
designated as a three-way stop intersection.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve, order,
and determine as follows:
Section 1. That City Council of the City of Lynwood designates
Fernwood Avenue and EI Granada Avenue athree-way stop intersection.
Section 2. That the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect
the necessary stop signs in accordance with Lynwood Municipal Code Section 7-
9.8 and California Vehicle Code Sections 21354 and 21355.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of
this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1St day of July 2008.
