AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Five Thousand
Dollars ($105,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Hill-N-Dale #26 (89120), in the City of
Olivette, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Krupp
Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid
storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Eighty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-six and
50/100 Dollars ($87,326.50), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
charges and allowance for construction change orders is Seventeen
Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-three and 50/100 Dollars
($17,673.50), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Five Thousand
Dollars ($105,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for

the construction of storm sewers in Hill-N-Dale #26 (89120), in
the City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Krupp Construction Company, Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Hill-N-Dale #26 (89120), in the City of Olivette, Missouri, with
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 21st day of February, 1991 and formally
executed on the 12th day of March, 1991 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 10, 1991.
