A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE INSTALLATION OF PRE- FABRICATED BUS SHELTERS,
BENCHES AND TRASH RECEPTACLES PROJECT NO. 4011.67.987, AS
BEING COMPLETE; AND, AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, the installation of pre- fabricated bus shelters, benches, and
trash receptacles project, Project No. 4011.67.987 consist of 21 locations
citywide; and
WHEREAS, on September 4, 2007, the City Council awarded a contract
to Sadie Construction, Inc. in the amount of $120,000; and
WHEREAS, the project construction started on January 22, 2008, and
was completed on April 15, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by Prop. "A" funds; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost of the project is $140,500; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works conducted the final
inspection on April 15, 2008 and found that all work. is complete in accordance
with the project plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Installation of Pre- Fabricated Bus Shelters, Benches and Trash. receptacles
Project, Project No. 4011.67.987 as complete in accordance with the contract
documents; and, authorizes the City Engineer to process the recordation of the
Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of July, 2008.
