HomeMy Public PortalAbout08351 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8351 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 89212 (Mark Twain & St. Charles Rock Road) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 89212 (Mark Twain & St. Charles Rock Road). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 89212 (Mark Twain & St. Charles Rock Road) shall be as follows: Beginning at the southeastern corner of property conveyed to Robert W. Cory, et al, by deed recorded in Book 7720 Page 812 of the St. Louis County Records, said southeastern corner also being a common corner with Lots 12 and 13 of "Old Trails Addition" a subdivision according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 118 Page 68 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the southern line of said Cory property to the southwest corner thereof, said corner being the southeast corner of property conveyed to William M. Sullivan and Mae Rosalie Sullivan, his wife, by deed recorded in Book 6820 Page 2395 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing westwardly along the southern line of said Sullivan property to the southwest corner thereof, said corner being the southeast corner of property conveyed to Justus H. Manes and Janice S. Manes, his wife, by deed recorded in Book 8031 Page 2278 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing westwardly along the southern line of said Manes property to the southwest corner thereof, 2 said corner being the southeast corner of property conveyed to Janet Wiesemeyer and Jane Harper by deed recorded in Book 7836 Page 975 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing westwardly along the southern line of said Wiesemeyer property to the southwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along the western line of said Wiesemeyer property, a distance of 217.99 feet, to a point; thence eastwardly along a line parallel to the southern line of said Wiesemeyer property, to a point in the eastern line of said Wiesemeyer property, said point also being in the western line of said Manes property; thence southwardly along the eastern line of said Wiesemeyer property, a distance of 108.78 feet to a point, said point being 109.21 feet from the southwest corner of said Manes property; thence eastwardly along a line parallel to the southern line of said Manes property to a point in the eastern line of said Manes property, said point also being in the western line of said Sullivan property; thence northwardly along the said western line of the Sullivan property, a distance of 79.23 feet to a point, said point being 188.44 feet from the southwest corner of said Sullivan property; thence eastwardly along a line parallel to the southern line of said Sullivan property to a point in the eastern line of said Sullivan property, said point also being in the western line of said Cory property; thence northwardly along the western line of said Cory property, a distance of 46.35 feet to a point, said point being 234.79 feet from the southwest corner of said Cory property; thence eastwardly along a line parallel to the southern line of said Cory property to a point in the eastern line of said Cory property, said point also being in the western line of Lot 2 of "Mark Twain Subdivision" a subdivision according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 121 Page 92 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the said western line of Lot 2 a distance of 59.01 feet, said point being 167.95 feet, from the southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence eastwardly along a line parallel to the southern line of said Lot 2 to a point in the eastern line of said Lot 2, said point also being in the western line of Lot 1 of said "Mark Twain Subdivision"; thence northwardly along the said western line of Lot 1 a distance of 23.89 feet to a point, said point being 189.40 feet, from the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence eastwardly along a line parallel to the northern line of said Lot 1 to a point in the eastern line of said Lot 1, said point also being in the western line of property conveyed to Gary E. 3 Wheeler and Clarinda A. Wheeler, his wife, by deed recorded in Book 6881 Page 301 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northerly along the said western line of the Wheeler property to the northwest corner thereof, said corner also being in the southern line of Mark Twain Drive; thence northeastwardly across Mark Twain Drive to the southwest corner of Parcel No. 2 of property conveyed to Raymond E. Williams by deed recorded in Book 7639 Page 1854 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeasterly along the northwest line of said Parcel No. 2 of the Williams property to the northernmost corner thereof, said corner also being the northwestern corner of Parcel No. 1 of said Williams property; thence northeastwardly along the northern line of said Parcel No. 1 to the northeast corner thereof, said corner also being the northwest corner of property conveyed to Charles R. Buchholz and Ina D. Buchholz, his wife, by deed recorded in Book 4891 Page 298 of the St. Louis County Records, said corner also being in the southern line of St. Charles Rock Road; thence southeastwardly along the southern line of St. Charles Rock Road (of variable width) to the northeastern corner of property conveyed to Floyd Hauhe by deed recorded in Book 8129 Page 1398 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the eastern line of said Hauhe property to a corner, said corner also being in the northern line of property conveyed to John S. & Carolyn B. Bacon by deed recorded in Book 6736 Page 1549 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the northern line of said Bacon property to the westernmost corner thereof, said corner also being a common corner with said Hauhe property and property conveyed to the City of Bridgeton, Mo, by deed recorded in Book 6380 Page 1053 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along the southwestern line of said Bacon property to the southwestern corner thereof, said corner also being on the southeastern line of said City of Bridgeton property; thence southwestwardly along the southeastern line of said City of Bridgeton property to the south- eastern corner thereof; thence westwardly along the southern line of said City of Bridgeton property a distance of 220 feet to a point; thence northeastwardly along a line parallel to the aforesaid southeastern line of said City of Bridgeton property to a point in the southern line of said Hauhe property; thence along the southern line of said Hauhe property to the southwest corner thereof, said corner also being the southernmost corner of property conveyed to J & M Enterprises, Inc. by deed recorded in Book 8728 Page 446 of the St. Louis County 4 Records; thence westwardly along the southern line of said J & M Enterprises, Inc. property to the southwestern corner thereof, said corner also being the most southern corner of property conveyed to New Life Pentecostal Church by deed recorded in Book 7552 page 910 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the western line of said J & M Enterprises Inc. property to the most southern corner of property conveyed to Gregory A. Jordan by deed recorded in Book 8406 Page 1483 of the St. Louis County Records; thence continuing along the line common to the J & M Enterprises and Jordan properties a distance of 101.10 feet to a point; thence northwestwardly at right angles to the southeastern line of said Jordan property to a point in the western line of said Jordan property, said point being 108.41 feet from the most southern corner of said Jordan property, and also being in the eastern line of said New Life Pentecostal Church property; thence northwardly along said eastern line of the New Life Pentecostal Church property 102.53 feet to a point, said point being 210.94 feet from the southern corner of said Jordan property; thence westwardly at right angles to the said eastern line of the New Life Pentecostal Church property to a point in the northwestern line thereof, said point also being in the southeastern line of property conveyed to the Pentecostal Church of University City, Missouri by deed recorded in Book 6426 Page 818 (part one) of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the said southeastern line of the Pentecostal Church of University City, Missouri property, to a point, said point being 112.15 feet southwestwardly of the northeast corner of the said Pentecostal Church of University City, Missouri property; thence northwestwardly along a line parallel to the northeastern line of said Pentecostal Church of University City, Missouri property, to a point in the northwestern line thereof; thence northeastwardly along the said northwestern line of the Pentecostal Church of University City, Missouri property to the northwest corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along the said northeastern line of the Pentecostal Church of University City, Missouri property to the northeast corner thereof, said corner also being a point on the said northwestern line of the New Life Pentecostal Church property; thence northeastwardly along the said northwestern line to the southern line of Mark Twain Drive; thence northwestwardly along the southern line of Mark Twain Drive to the northeast corner of Lot 1 of "Nangles Subdivision" a subdivision according to the 5 plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 130 Page 38 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the eastern line of said Nangles Subdivision to the southernmost corner of Lot 2 of said Nangles Subdivision, said corner also being the easternmost corner of property conveyed to Lawrence S. Howard and Leona J. Howard, his wife, by deed recorded in Book 7758 Page 225 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the eastern line of said Howard property to the southernmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly along the southwestern line of said Howard property a distance of 99.28 feet to a point; thence northeastwardly along a line parallel to the said eastern line of the Howard property to a point in the southern line of said Lot 2 of Nangles Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along the said southern line of Lot 2 a distance of 20.73 + feet to a corner of Lot 2 said corner being a corner common to the aforesaid Howard property; thence northeastwardly, along the line of said Lot 2 of Nangles Subdivision and its direct prolongation to the southern line of Mark Twain Drive; thence northwestwardly along the southern line of Mark Twain Drive a distance of 79.07 + feet to the northernmost corner of said Lot 2, said corner also being the northeast corner of property conveyed to Joseph P. Panke and Bernice M. Panke, his wife, by deed recorded in Book 7372 Page 2066 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the eastern line of said Panke property a distance of 304.57 feet to a point; thence northwestwardly at right angles to the said eastern line of the Panke property to a point in the western line thereof, said point also being in the eastern line of the aforesaid Wheeler property; thence northeastwardly along said eastern line to a point, said point being a distance of 177.82 feet from the northeast corner of said Wheeler property; thence northwestwardly at right angles to the said eastern line of the Wheeler property to a point in the western line thereof, said point also being a point in the eastern line of the aforesaid Lot 1 of Mark Twain Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along the said eastern line of Lot 1 to the southeast corner thereof; thence northwestwardly along the southern line of said Mark Twain Subdivision to the southwest corner of the aforesaid Lot 2 of Mark Twain Subdivision, said corner also being in the eastern line of the aforesaid Cory property; thence southwardly along said eastern line to the point of beginning. 6 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 8, 1991.
