HomeMy Public PortalAbout08360 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8360 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Blackjack-Dellwood to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Hallwood Drive #10655 (90117), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Gateway Contractors, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Nineteen Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-five Dollars ($19,895.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Five Thousand One Hundred Five Dollars ($5,105.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Blackjack- Dellwood to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Hallwood Drive #10655 (90117), in St. Louis County, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Gateway Contractors, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Hallwood Drive #10655 (90117), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of March, 1991 and formally executed on the 9th day of April, 1991 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 8, 1991.
