AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($147,700.00) from the Fee Fee
Extension and Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-4 Mason Road Sanitary
Relief (87103), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a
contract with Purler-Cannon-Schulte, Inc. for the construction of
the aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is One Hundred Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars
($120,850.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and
allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-six Thousand
Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($26,850.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($147,700.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund to be
used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
CC-4 Mason Road Sanitary Relief (87103), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.

Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Purler-Cannon-Schulte, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-4
Mason Road Sanitary Relief (87103), in St. Louis County, Missouri,
with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 18th day of April, 1991 and formally
executed on the 7th day of May, 1991 by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
