HomeMy Public PortalAbout08385 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8385 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($9,550.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Infrastructure Repair #35 (91055), in the City of Brentwood, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Seven Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($7,600.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is One Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollar ($1,950.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($9,550.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Infrastructure Repair #35 (91055), in the City of Brentwood, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the 2 Executive Director to Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Infrastructure Repair #35 (91055), in the City of Brentwood, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 15th day of April, 1991 and formally executed on the 7th day of May, 1991 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 19, 1991.
