HomeMy Public PortalAbout08387 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8387 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($585,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in WW1-WW4 Phase II (89062), in the Cities of Glendale, Kirkwood and Warson Woods, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the rehabilitation of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the cost for the rehabilitation of said sanitary sewers is Five Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-five Dollars ($526,795.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection and allowance for construction change orders is Fifty- eight Thousand Seven Hundred Five Dollars ($58,705.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($585,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in WW1-WW4 Phase II (89062), in the Cities of Glendale, Kirkwood and Warson Woods, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in WW1-WW4 Phase II (89062), in the Cities of Glendale, Kirkwood and Warson Woods, Missouri, said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 19, 1991.
