A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL DESIGNATING THE WIN
PROJECT AS A CITY SELECTED COMMUNITY HOUSING - DEVELOPMENT
ORGANIZATION (CHDO)
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to provide affordable housing
opportunities for very low, low and moderate income individuals and families; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood. receives HOME funds and must set aside a
minimum of 15 percent of its HOME allocations for housing development activities in
which qualified CHDOs are the owners, developers and/or sponsors of the housing; and
WHEREAS, the WIN Project meets the requirements as a qualified Community
Housing Development Organization (CHDO); and
NOW, THEREFORE, the Lynwood City Council hereby finds, proclaims, orders
and resolves as follows:
Section 1. That the City Coiuncil approves the designation of The WIN Project as
a City. selected and qualified Community Housing Development Organization..
Section 2. This .Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 2008.
