HomeMy Public PortalAbout08423 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8423 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($6,400,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Plant Control System (BP-10, 91056) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Johnson Yokogawa Corporation for the aforesaid construction, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Plant Control System is Six Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($6,100,000.00), and the allowance for change orders is Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($6,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Plant Control System (BP-10, 91056) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Johnson Yokogawa Corporation as the lowest 2 responsible bidder for the construction of the Plant Control System (BP-10, 91056) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 23rd day of May, 1991 and formally executed on the 11th day of June, 1991 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1991.
