AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twelve Thousand One Hundred
Dollars ($12,100.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Grasso Lane to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Frankfort
#4660 (90258), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a
contract with Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with
Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Nine Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-four Dollars
($9,334.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction
change orders is Two Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-six Dollars
($2,766.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twelve Thousand One Hundred
Dollars ($12,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Grasso Lane to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Frankfort #4660 (90258), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the

Executive Director to Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Frankfort #4660 (90258), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 6th day of May, 1991 and formally executed on
the 11th day of June, 1991 by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is
hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of
the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
