AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-eight
Thousand Dollars ($168,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Daniel Boone
Creek West of Loveland Drive Channel Repairs (91048), in the City
of Florissant, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Concrete
Design, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers,
in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Seven Hundred and
06/100 Dollars ($134,700.06), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and
allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-three Thousand
Two Hundred Ninety-nine and 94/100 Dollars ($33,299.94), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-eight
Thousand Dollars ($168,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Daniel Boone Creek West of Loveland Drive
Channel Repairs (91048), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Concrete Design, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Daniel
Boone Creek West of Loveland Drive Channel Repairs (91048), in the
City of Florissant, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th
day of May, 1991 and formally executed on the 18th day of June,
1991 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed,
in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1991.
