AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for additional project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Dickson Court (87190), in the City of Kirkwood,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8339, adopted April 10, 1991,
provided the initial funding for said project, and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) toward the additional costs
of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) toward the
additional costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars
($60,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for additional project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Dickson Court (87190), in the City of Kirkwood,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 9, 1991.
