CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Kiefer called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. immediately following the
Zoning Board of Appeals meeting.
ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Goins, Nicholson, Valerga, Womack and Chairman Minnis
Absent: Commissioner Heinen
Staff: Jake Melrose, Economic Development Director
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Valerga made a motion to approve the Minutes of Plan Commission meeting held on June
20, 2023 as presented. Second by Commissioner Nicholson. The motion carried unanimously by voice
vote:

No Public Comments.
DEVELOPMENT REPORT
Development Report provided during Zoning Board of Appeals meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
LINCOLN HIGHWAY SELF STORAGE (CASE 2011-050523.SU.SPR.FP)
Commissioner Valerga made a motion to continue the public hearing for case 2011-
050523.SU.SPR.FP to the August 15, 2023 meeting of the Plan Commission. Second by Commissioner
Womack. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote:
NEW BUSINESS
TRAMMELL CROW BUSINESS PARK (CASE 2013-051223.AA.SU.REZ.SPR.PP)
Chairman Minnis explained that the applicant requested a continuation to the case to the next meeting.
Commissioner Valerga made a motion to open a Public Hearing for the proposed annexation of
approximately 220 acres, rezoning, and special use for planned development for the property located
generally southwest of the intersection of 143rd Street and Steiner Road (PINs 06-03-07-100-003-
0000 and 06-03-07-400-001-0000), and continue the Public Hearing to the August 2, 2023 meeting of
the Plan Commission. Second by Commissioner Goins. The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote:
Ayes: Goins, Nicholson, Valerga, Womack and Minnis
Nays: None
Absent: Heinen

DISCUSSION
Chairman Minns made an announcement of the two Workshops for the Comprehensive Plan coming up in
August.
Chairman Minnis read the reminders.
ADJOURN
Chairman Minnis adjourned the Plan Commission meeting at 7:30 p.m.
