HomeMy Public PortalAbout08459 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8459 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,500,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Central Pumping Station Modifications (BP-06, 91075), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with J.S. Alberici Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid contract, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Central Pumping Station Modifications is Four Million One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($4,130,000.00) and the cost of utility relocations and allowance for change orders is Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($370,000.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Central Pumping Station Modifications (BP-06, 91075), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to J.S. Alberici Construction Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Central Pumping Station Modifications (BP-06, 91075), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of June, 1991 and formally executed on the 8th day of July, 1991 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 14, 1991.
