HomeMy Public PortalAbout08464 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8464 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($11,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Filly Court #5 (90162), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Bommarito Construction Company for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Eight Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-one Dollars ($8,281.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Two Hundred Nineteen Dollars ($3,219.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($11,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Filly Court #5 (90162), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Bommarito Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Filly Court #5 (90162), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th day of June, 1991 and formally executed on the 8th day of July, 1991 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 14, 1991.
