AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-three
Thousand Dollars ($123,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, One Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Dollars
($123,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, Forty-seven Thousand Dollars
($47,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek and Fifty-seven Thousand Dollars
($57,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres
to be used for additional engineering services for the
preparation of a Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System
Improvement Plan; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment #1 to Contract E-698 with O'Brien
& Gere Engineering, Inc., for the additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Amendment #1 defines the scope of services,
time and fees and payments for additional engineering services,
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-three
Thousand Dollars ($123,000.00) from the Mississippi River

Operating Fund, One Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Dollars
($123,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, Forty-seven Thousand Dollars
($47,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek and Fifty-seven Thousand Dollars
($57,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres
is hereby appropriated for additional engineering services with
O'Brien & Gere Engineering, Inc. for the Lemay Service Area
Overflow Regulation System Improvement Plan, M.S.D. Contract E-
698, Amendment #1.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment #1 to Contract E-698
with O'Brien & Gere Engineering, Inc. for additional engineering
services for the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System
Improvement Plan.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.

The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 14, 1991.
