AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Parker
Road Relief Section B (91080), in the City of Florissant and
unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into a
contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the rehabilitation of
the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the cost for the rehabilitation of said
sanitary sewers is One Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Three Hundred
Seventy-two Dollars ($135,372.00), and the cost of engineering,
inspection and allowance for construction change orders is
Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($14,628.00),
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek
to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary
sewers in Parker Road Relief Section B (91080), in the City of
Florissant and unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the rehabilitation of sanitary
sewers in Parker Road Relief Section B (91080), in the City of
Florissant, and unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, said
contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 14, 1991.
