AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with the City of Florissant,
Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 of the United States of America, for the receipt of federal
funds to be used for stormwater improvements in the project known
as Lilac and Gardenia (S-1861), in the City of Florissant,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 will provide the City of Florissant, Missouri with federal
funds for public works projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act required contracts between the
District and the City of Florissant, Missouri, for the undertaking
of sewer projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the
City of Florissant, pursuant to the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America, for the
receipt of federal funds to be used for stormwater improvements in
the project known as Lilac & Gardenia (S-1861), in the City of
Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 18, 1991.
