HomeMy Public PortalAbout08501 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8501 AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of the District in portions of sewer easements and streets in part of Edmundson Terrace in U.S. Survey 168, Township 46 North, Range 6 East, in St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, the owner of this land has requested that this District vacate any right, title or interest that it may have in the subject portions of sewer easements and streets, and has agreed to grant to the District suitable alternate easements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District hereby vacates any right, title or interest that it may have in the following described portions of sewer easements and streets (Olmstead Lane, Whitfield Lane, Holman Lane and Otis Drive). A tract of land being Lots 1 thru 9 and Lots 33 thru 42 in Block 1, Lots 1 thru 4 and Lots 13 thru 16 in Block 5, Lots 1 thru 10 and Lots 13 thru 23 in Block 6; Lots 1 thru 3, part of Lots 4 and 5; and Lots 6 thru 9 in Block 7; Lots 1 thru 7 in Block 8 and parts of Olmstead Lane, 50 feet wide, Whitfield Lane varying widths, Otis Drive (North), 50 feet wide and Holman Lane, 50 feet wide, of "Edmundson Terrace", a subdivision according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 37, Page 47 of the St. Louis County Records, together with a tract of land being part of U.S. Survey 168, Township 46 North, Range 6 East, St. Louis County, Missouri; and described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Eastern line of Edmundson Road, as widened and established by the recorded plat of "Edmundson Terrace", said point being the Southwest corner of Lot 9 in Block 1 of said subdivision; thence along the Eastern line of Edmundson Road, North 7 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds East, 794.00 feet to the 2 Northwest corner of Lot 1 in Block 7 of "Edmundson Terrace", thence North 82 degrees 51 minutes 00 seconds West, 5.00 feet to a point on the Eastern line of Edmundson Road, 40 feet wide; thence along said Eastern road line, North 7 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds East, 25.00 feet to a point on the Southern right-of-way line of Interstate Highway No. 70, (irregular width), as established by deed recorded in Book 5306, Page 150 of the St. Louis County Records; thence along said Southern right-of-way line the following, North 71 degrees 07 minutes 00 seconds East, 79.74 feet; South 85 degrees 43 minutes 38 seconds East, 146.27 feet and South 86 degrees 23 minutes 45 seconds East, 82.83 feet to the Southwest corner of property conveyed to the State of Missouri by deed recorded in Book 3633, Page 302 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being located on the Western line of Lot 5 in Block 7 of "Edmundson Terrace"; thence along the Southern line of said State of Missouri property, being the Southern right-of-way of Interstate Highway No. I-70, North 88 degrees 11 minutes 28 seconds East, 91.53 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 5 in Block 7 of "Edmundson Terrace"; thence along the Southwestern right-of-way line of Interstate Highway No. 70, being the Northeastern line of "Edmundson Terrace", South 57 degrees 58 minutes 00 seconds East, 350.00 feet to the Easternmost corner of Lot 9 in Block 7 of "Edmundson Terrace", said point being located on the Northwestern line of Whitfield Lane, 60 feet wide; thence along said Northwestern street line, South 32 degrees 02 minutes 00 seconds West, 52.26 feet to a point on the Northwestern prolongation of the Northeastern line of Block 8 of "Edmundson Terrace"; thence along said prolongation, across Whitfield Lane and along the Northeastern line of said Block 8, South 57 degrees 58 minutes 00 seconds East, 429.59 feet to an angle point in Lot 4 in Block 8 of "Edmundson Terrace", said point being the Northeastern corner of said subdivision; thence along the Eastern line of said subdivision, South 7 degrees 10 minutes 00 seconds West, 295.28 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 7 in Block 8 of said subdivision; thence along the Southern line of Lot 7 and its prolongation across Whitfield Lane, 50 feet wide, North 82 degrees 51 minutes 00 seconds West, 180.97 feet to a point on the Western line of Whitfield Lane at the Northeast corner of Lot 14 in Block 6 of "Edmundson Terrace", thence along the Western line of Whitfield Lane, South 7 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds West, 130.00 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 13 in Block 6 of said subdivision; thence along the Southern 3 line of Lot 13 and along the Southern line of Lot 10 in Block 6 and its prolongation across Otis Drive (North), 50 feet wide, North 82 degrees 51 minutes 00 seconds West 310.00 feet to a point on the Western line of Otis Drive (North); thence along the Western line of Otis Drive (North), South 7 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds West, 90.00 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 13 in Block 5 of "Edmundson Terrace"; thence along the Southern line of Lot 13 and along the Southern line of Lot 4 in Block 5 of "Edmundson Terrace", North 82 degrees 51 minutes 00 seconds West, 260.00 feet to a point on the Eastern line of Holman Lane, 50 feet wide, at the Southwest corner of said Lot 4 in Block 5; thence along the Eastern line of Holman Lane, North 7 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds East, 10.00 feet to a point on the Eastward prolongation of the Southern line of Lot 33 in Block 1 of "Edmundson Terrace"; thence along said prolongation, across Holman Lane, along the Southern line of said Lot 33 and along the Southern line of Lot 9 in Block 1 of "Edmundson Terrace", North 82 degrees 51 minutes 00 seconds West, 320.00 feet to the point of beginning as recorded in Plat Book 37, Page 47 of the St. Louis County Records. 4 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 18, 1991.
