HomeMy Public PortalAbout08556 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8556 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-one Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Dollars ($31,290.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to pay the District's and the State of Missouri's shares of the total costs for the construction of storm sewers in Meath Dr. #10711 Stormwater Project (P-17387), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by St. Louis County, Missouri at an estimated total cost of Thirty-one Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Dollars ($31,290.00), and WHEREAS, the District has agreed to contribute Twenty- one Thousand Two Hundred Fourteen Dollars ($21,214.00) toward the total costs of said project, and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Ten Thousand Seventy-six Dollars ($10,076.00) toward the total costs of said project, and will deposit said amount with the District, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Thirty-one Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Dollars ($31,290.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to pay the District's and the State of Missouri's shares of the total costs for the construction of storm sewers in Meath Dr. #10711 Stormwater Project (P-17387), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 11, 1991.
