HomeMy Public PortalAbout08571 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8571 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to sell and convey to Gannett Outdoor Co. of St. Louis, certain real property of the District located in St. Louis County, Missouri, and prescribing the terms of said transaction. WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described has been declared as surplus pursuant to Resolution No. 1954, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2016, adopted the 18th day of September, 1991, said real property was appraised, advertised for sale and will be sold to the highest bidder for same, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized and directed to sell and convey to Gannett Outdoor Co. of St. Louis, certain real property of the District located in St. Louis County, Missouri for the total sale price of Two Thousand ($2,000.00), said real property being described as follows: A parcel of land in the southeast fractional 1/4 of Section 29 Township 46 North, Range 6 East, being the southern 1/4 of an arpent of a tract of 8.47 arpents conveyed to Johann Philip Gemmer, by deed recorded in Book 350, Page 174 of the records of the St. Louis City (formerly County) and fronting 28-4/12 feet, more or less, on the center line of Woodson Road, by a depth eastwardly of 325 feet, more or less, to the east line of said property conveyed to Johann Philip Gemmer. 2 Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute and deliver a Special Warranty Deed and any and all other documents as approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District as may be necessary to effect the sale and conveyance as authorized in Section One above, and further to deposit the proceeds from said sale and conveyance in the reserve for Real Property Purchase, Improvement and Alterations Account. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 8, 1992.
