HomeMy Public PortalAbout08580 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8580 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Eighty-four Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($184,600.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Fox Hall Lane (89090), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Concrete Design, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm and sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm and sanitary sewers is One Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Eighty-eight Dollars ($132,088.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Fifty-two Thousand Five Hundred Twelve Dollars ($52,512.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Eighty-four Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($184,600.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Fox Hall Lane (89090), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Concrete Design, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Fox Hall Lane (89090), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 5th day of December, 1991 and formally executed on the 7th day of January, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 8, 1992.
