AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Fifty-three
Thousand Dollars ($353,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($29,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Blackjack-Dellwood, Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($98,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Maline Creek and Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Watkins Creek to be used for engineering services for the
preparation of a Bissell Wastewater System Improvement Plan; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract E-736 with Sverdrup Corporation for the engineering
services.
WHEREAS, Contract E-736 defines the scope of services,
time and fees and payments for engineering services, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Fifty-three
Thousand Dollars ($353,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($29,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of

Blackjack- Dellwood, Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($98,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Maline Creek and Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Watkins Creek is hereby appropriated for engineering services with
Sverdrup Corporation for the Bissell Wastewater System Improvement
Plan, M.S.D. Contract E-736.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-736 with Sverdrup
Corporation for engineering services for the Bissell Wastewater
System Improvement Plan.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
