AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) from the General
Fund of the District, and transferring Seventy Thousand Dollars
($70,000.00) of said sum to General Counsel Department Account No.
441 for legal judgment and claim settlements, and transferring One
Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000.00) of said sum to
General Counsel Department Account No. 133 for professional and
consulting services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8368, adopted May 8, 1991,
appropriated the initial funding for the payment of legal judgment
and claim settlements, and for professional and consulting
services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ten Thousand
Dollars ($210,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
of the District, and Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00) of said
sum is hereby transferred to General Counsel Department Account
No. 441 for legal judgment and claim settlements, and One Hundred
Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000.00) of said sum is hereby
transferred to General Counsel Department Account No. 133 for
professional and consulting services.

Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1992.
