AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-one Thousand Five
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($21,550.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for
project costs for channel repairs in Willow Leaf #2023 Channel
Repair (92012), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri; and confirming
a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the aforesaid channel
repairs, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel repairs is Fourteen
Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($14,670.00), and
the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders
is Six Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Dollars ($6,880.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-one Thousand Five
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($21,550.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for channel repairs in Willow
Leaf #2023 Channel Repair (92012), in the City of Des Peres,
Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the

Executive Director to R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for channel repairs in Willow Leaf #2023 Channel Repair
(92012), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri, with The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 12th day of March, 1992 and formally executed on the 28th day
of April, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby
confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
