AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of One Hundred Nine
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($109,200.00), to be funded as
follows: Ninety-six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars (96,200.00) from
the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
the University City Branch of River des Peres, Ten Thousand
Dollars ($10,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the Seminary Branch of River des
Peres, and Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin,
to be used for the rebuilding and/or replacing inlets, manholes,
inlet manholes, and replacing sewer pipe in Infrastructure Repair
Number 048 (92018), in the Cities of Hanley Hills, Clayton,
Olivette, Overland, University City, Vinita Park, Wellston,
Shrewsbury and/or unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and
confirming a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the aforesaid
project, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid project is Ninety-
four Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($94,650.00), and the cost
of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement
costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Fourteen
Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($14,550.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named funds
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Nine Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($109,200.00) to be funded as follows: Ninety-six
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars (96,200.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres, Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of the Seminary Branch of River des Peres, and Three Thousand
Dollars ($3,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin, is hereby
appropriated to be used for the rebuilding and/or replacing
inlets, manholes, inlet manholes, and replacing sewer pipe in
Infrastructure Repair Number 048 (92018), in the Cities of Hanley
Hills, Clayton, Olivette, Overland, University City, Vinita Park,
Wellston, Shrewsbury and/or unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for rebuilding and/or replacing inlets, manholes, inlet
manholes, and replacing sewer pipe in Infrastructure Repair Number
048 (92018), in the Cities of Hanley Hills, Clayton, Olivette,
Overland, University City, Vinita Park, Wellston, Shrewsbury
and/or unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, with the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received

and opened on the 12th day of March, 1992 and formally executed on
the 28th day of April, 1992 by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
