AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-one Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($81,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Roan Lane #59
(90243), in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and confirming a contract
with Mulligan Construction, Inc. for the construction of the
aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the
Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Fifty-eight Thousand Two Hundred Forty-nine Dollars
($58,249.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and
allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-two Thousand
Nine Hundred Fifty-one Dollars ($22,951.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-one Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($81,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Roan Lane #59 (90243), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the

Executive Director to Mulligan Construction, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Roan
Lane #59 (90243), in the City of Ladue, Missouri, with The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 16th day of March, 1992 and formally executed on
the 28th day of April, 1992 by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
