George Riley-85 Hamilton Cartway-variance request GR presented this to the Board and asked for the following variances: 1. To allow the SAS to be 1 foot from the property line 2. To allow the septic tank to be 20 feet from the bordering vegetated wetland 3. To allow the SAS to be 63 feet from the well 4. To allow the SAS to be 72 feet from the pond This is an existing home that is being sold. It will be an Advantex system. Conservation Commission has already approved this project and they are just waiting on the Order of Conditions to be written up. Motion: JH-approve variances with the Environmentally Sensitive Area conditions applying. KJ seconded. 5 yes. 2. Richard Judd-variance request for 165 Canoe Pond Drive RJ is requesting a variance to allow the new septic system to be within 300'of a pond. Motion: JR-approve variance request. JH seconded. 5 yes. 3. Felco-variance request for 63 Daisy Lane David Lajoie presented this to the Board. This is an existing house that the owners are adding more living space to. They cannot meet the 300'setback from the leaching area to the pond. The following variances are being requested: 1. To allow the proposed SAS to be 10 feet from the cellar wall 2. To allow the proposed SAS to be 3 feet from the property line of Parcel 62 3. To allow the proposed SAS to be 175 feet from the pond 4. To allow the proposed SAS to be 3 feet from a bordering vegetated wetland Conservation Commission has approved this project. JH stated that she believes that an I/A system should be required on this lot due to how close it is to the pond. Motion: JH-require an I/A system. LS seconded. JH & LS-yes, JR, DB, KJ-no. Haddleton &Associates, PC-variance request for 87 North Pond Drive Attorney Russell Haddleton was present representing the owners. They would like approval to keep the existing septic system where it is currently located which is less than 300'to the pond. The house is being sold. Motion: JH-approve variance. KJ seconded. 5 yes. 5. Minutes from March 1, 2011 Motion: JR-approve minutes as written. KJ seconded. 5 yes. 6. Minutes from April 5, 2011 Motion: JR-approve minutes as written. KJ seconded. 5 yes. Sand &Gravel permit Add on's NI handed out a memo from Jillian Douglass re: recycling. It will go on the agenda for the next meeting NI spoke about 77 Stony Brook Road. Ms. Trefrey could not make this meeting so she will be on for the June 7th meeting instead. NI also spoke about the oil tank being replaced. The Board agreed that she did not have to come to the June 7th meeting because she had heat and water now. They did ask that she be checked on when winter comes to make sure she has heat.
