HomeMy Public PortalAbout2860-1973 - Transfer - Muncipal Airport Operating Budget - From Various line items for Electric, Gasoline & Social SecurityORDINANCE NO. 2860-1973 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT OPERATING BUDGET THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS ($220.00) FROM MA-9 PUBLICATION OF LEGAL NOTICES (242) TO MA-8 ELECTRIC CURRENT (221) ($50.00); FROM MA-16 OIL (322) ($75.00) AND FROM MA-17 TIRES AND TUBES (323) ($75.00) TO MA-15 GASOLINE (321) ($150.00); AND FROM MA-27 PREMIUMS ON OFFICIAL BONDS (56) TO MA-28 SOCIAL SECURITY (62) ($20.00). WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adop- tion of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appro- priate more money for various functions of the City Government than was appropriated to the annual budget. SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1973, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures to be made during the year unless expressly stipulated by law. SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that exists: AMOUNT REQUESTED ELECTRIC CURRENT MA-8 $ 50.00 GASOLINE MA-15 150.00 SOCIAL SECURITY MA-28 20.00 220.00 SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose which appropriated. IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriation be now reduced in amount as follows: REQUESTED REDUCTION PUBLICATION OF LEGAL NOTICES MA-9 $ 50.00 OIL MA-16 75.00 TIRES AND TUBES MA-17 75.00 PREMIUMS ON OFFICIAL BONDS MA-27 20.00 220.00 SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
