HomeMy Public PortalAbout08686 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8686 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-eight Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($48,150.00) from the St. Louis County Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fishpot Trunk Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation (90219), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Bommarito Construction Company for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Thirty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Seventeen Dollars ($33,717.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-three Dollars ($14,433.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Forty-eight Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($48,150.00) is hereby appropriated from the St. Louis County Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fishpot Trunk Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation (90219), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Bommarito Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fishpot Trunk Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation (90219), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 27th day of April, 1992 and formally executed on the 12th day of May, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 1992. -2-
