HomeMy Public PortalAbout08693 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8693 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in LaPadera Lane #11921 (90251), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Schuster Engineering, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Thirty-seven Thousand One Hundred Eighty-seven and 60/100 Dollars ($37,187.60), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Twelve and 40/100 Dollars ($10,812.40), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Forty-eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in LaPadera Lane #11921 (90251), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the 2 Executive Director to Schuster Engineering, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in LaPadera Lane #11921 (90251), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 14th day of May, 1992 and formally executed on the 9th day of June, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 1992.
