AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of Three Hundred
Sixty-nine Thousand Dollars ($369,000.00) to be funded as follows:
Fifty-one Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($51,550.00) from
the Fenton Operating Fund, One Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($121,250.00) from the Riverside Operating
Fund, One Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($129,000.00) from
the Valley Sewage Operating Fund, and Sixty-seven Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($67,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin, to be
used for the construction of the Fenton, Missouri Wastewater
Treatment Plant Chlorine Facilities; and confirming a contract
with C. Rallo Contracting Company, Inc. for the aforesaid
construction, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid project is Three
Hundred Thirty-three Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($333,100.00),
and the cost of engineering, inspection, advertisement costs, and
allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-five Thousand
Nine Hundred Dollars ($35,900.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named funds
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty-nine

Thousand Dollars ($369,000.00) to be funded as follows: Fifty-one
Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($51,550.00) from the Fenton
Operating Fund, One Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Two Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($121,250.00) from the Riverside Operating Fund, One
Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($129,000.00) from the Valley
Sewage Operating Fund, and Sixty-seven Thousand Two Hundred
Dollars ($67,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and

hereby appropriated to be used for the construction of the Fenton,
Missouri Wastewater Treatment Plant Chlorine Facilities.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to C. Rallo Contracting Company, Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Fenton,
Missouri Wastewater Treatment Plant Chlorine Facilities, within
the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 22nd day of May, 1992 and formally
executed on the 9th day of June, 1992 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
