HomeMy Public PortalAbout08705 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8705 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,200,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System South Pumping Station Modifications (BP-09, 92055), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Tarlton Corporation for the construction of the aforesaid contract, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the South Pumping Station Modifications is Three Million Eight Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($3,875,000.00) and the cost of utility relocations and allowance for change orders is Three Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($325,000.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System South Pumping Station Modifications (BP-09, 92055), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Tarlton Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System South Pumping Station Modifications (BP-09, 92055), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of May, 1992 and formally executed on the 9th day of June, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 8, 1992.
